Many years ago we decided V day was a commercialised crock, however
Husband said he would still like to buy me flowers. I told him to buy
them on the 15th as they would be cheaper then. It has become a
standing joke that every Feb 15th he has two dozen long stem red roses
delivered to me. I thought he had forgotten yesterday as they did not
turn up at work until 4.10pm. They are beautiful, and not the *no
smell* ones either.

Great surprise when I got home, he had also bought an lovely old
ship's wheel for me(us).
