Most of their products now come from China. By the looks of the knives
from the store literature, I would say that they are "stamped" which
is not what I want. Thanks for your info.

Are you in the Calgary area? That offer is on here at the CoOp as was a
previous one for Thomas cookware, which was made in China like
everybloodything else these days!
