Local travel firms have already achieved extraordinary results in the MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) tourism sector this year.

In the first three months of 2011, Saigontourist arranged tours for over 10,000 MICE tourists, including domestic visitors.



It is currently handling a group of 50 tourists from Ukraine on a two-week visit to Hanoi, Halong, Hue, Danang, Hoi An, Nha Trang and HCMC in Vietnam and Siem Reap in Cambodia.



Saigontourist, the country’s biggest travel services firm, has prepared four and five-star hotels for the trip.



The travel company said they also arranged overseas leisure-and-business tours for foreign MICE tourists.
