I often refer to myself as a "cook hobbyist." I enjoy cooking,
particularly cooking for dinner parties, cocktail parties, etc., where
I can try my hand at new dishes. It's always fun to try a new dish
that might push my skill set, for instance. Or have an excuse to haul
out an old recipe that gets ignored in the day-to-day.
