Michiel,
Ripon and I sat for awhile in his garden patio drinking the Ambootia FF the
other day. We both came to the same conclusion you did. FF leaf freshness
was definitely in evidence, but very little flower or other complexities.
Finish was too weak. At the same time there were no "bad notes." Perhaps
leaf amount and steep time variations might improve it. Ripon spoke of
giving it nine tries. I wouldn't have the patience.
