You can find good commercial teas at .01/g or if you splurge .02/g.
Try the European, Arabic, Indian market brands. I've never like
comparable priced Chinese brands. I'm paying .10/g for oolongs from
my local tea shoppe. For them there is overhead and profit. For me I
like the atmosphere and comradery. I'm paying more for added value
than taste. Since I'm now a regular I get to try the new stock before
it is put on the shelves. I get a free oz for more than one cup. I
still need to taste the new Imperial Gold oolong. I miss my cheap
commercial Chinese and Formosa oolongs which mysteriously disappeared
off the shelves years ago.
