What if they suck!?

I won't eat my mom's cooking at gunpoint, ever! She used to cook
great, but now burns canned soup and microwave popcorn. My ex-wife
couldn't cook to save her life. Actually, she could, but pretended
she couldn't so she wouldn't have to. The results were the same,
crappy food.
