No...NOT at all. But we made six different combinations of ingredients and found the Splenda took the over sharp lemon edge off. Reducing the salt also accomplished this since salt is a major flavor enhancer of acid. This was a blind taste test so among the five of us, each chose the Splenda version and no one knew which one was which. The Splenda didn't add sweetness as you would expect.

After three days, the general consensus was the non Splenda attempts were great for mac salads and Cole slaw. Our final version was the best for BLT and other sandwiches.
