Cruise control has saved me many a ticket. I set if for 5 over the posted
speed and I can go right by a radar trap and have never been stopped.
Without it, on a long drive it is easy to creep up into the danger zone.

A couple of months ago I was in the left lane at 70 mph barely passing a few
cars in the right probably doing 69 mph. The guy behind me was impatient
and badly wanted to get by me. After I passed the last car, I moved to the
right and he went right by me. About 100 yards later, the State Police
cruiser signaled him over for a speeding ticket.
