That's dependant on the details... since I typically travel about an
hour each way, during warm weather I go shopping for perishables with
an ice chest (I have an ice chest in my vehical at all times, and I
bring those refreezable blue ice thingies), if I'm going to be out
longer I'll buy a 5 lb bag of ice for $1 at the check out. During
winter I simply don't turn on the heat very high in my vehical, it'll
be colder than my fridge. For short trips I always have a couple of
those space material insulated bags in my vehical. I give more
consideration to summer temperature when bringing home live plants, on
hot days I can't turn off the A/C more than a few minutes or plants
will cook.
