Power loss in the grocery store

Have you never had a power outage in your house?! I had mine go out once
for about a week. The first thing you don't do is open your refrigerator or
freezer unless absolutely necessary. If it's going to be an extended outage
you get ice (or dry ice, if you can). Most deli meats are cured and can
probably withstand extended non-refrigeration... unless you're talking
potato or pasta salad or something made with mayonnaise. But you didn't
mention anything like that. So I wouldn't worry about it too much. You
should probably have given the deli meat a good new home. An hour and a
half won't kill you.
