Doesn't matter, the computer will attract just like a vacuum cleaner
and accumulate long hair, short hair, whatever. My computer monitor is
always attracting dirt and fuzz...you can't stop it. I cover my
keyboard when the computer is off and dust still gets in. All it takes
is one roller to be clogged and the mouse will not work right.

If you allow the cat to go where it wants to, then tough
beans...suffer the consequences.
