Not that grilled hot dogs are unpleasant but all one does is immerse the
dogs in beer and simmer for 10 minutes or so. Incidentally,
beer-simmered dogs can also be grilled quickly afterwards so you can
ring the changes. I don't think I'd keep grilled hot dogs warm in beer
because that would destroy the crisp grilled texture.
