Because you can make better bread with a stand mixer, and use it for things
other than bread, too.

I'd get the 6-qt. I have a 5-qt, and find that when I make my standard
2-loaf batch of dough it tends to throw the flour around at times, even with
the shield in place. I could use some more room.

I also make very large tiered cakes upon occasion, and the larger size would
be good for that, too.
