Daz Bog is a local chain in my area started by some Russian
immigrants. I recently got a couple of their tins at a discount. A
white earl grey and a pineapple green. The white tea is a good grade
of BaiMuDan with lots of hair dust. The green looks like a grade of
mao feng with bladed flat leaves. The scents taste natural. Not good
hot but much better cold. This representative picture came from the
Internet. You have to be a strong man to get that lid off the tin.
You have to twist and wiggle the lid off. It forms a perfect two seat
seal. One is the leading white edge you can see and the other the
trailing red lip which snaps over the tin edge. Even with the scents
the tea is some of the freshest Ive seen. I think the packaging might
be done at a factory in a nearby town. Ill be push pedal biking up
there soon and try to work it in.
