Does it really matter what his job is? How many years ago did this
happen? I haven't seen much/any activity over in alt.cooking-chat
recently, this certainly this isn't a current topic. I like the sound
of the menu though. It would be a great home cooked meal. Perhaps he
can repost the recipes in rfc. Then we can see what you're
complaining about and debate the merits here.
