That's the great part about accents! It lets others know (in general)
where you're from. How bland it would be if everyone sounded the
same. Of course, I turn on subtitles whenever I can because although
I enjoy accents - I don't enjoy replaying a movie scene over and over
to figure out what was said (particularly true with Brit and Aus
movies).

Speaking of accents... Netflix "Culloden". It's filmed in the "You
Are There" (hosted by Walter Cronkite) style. If you don't subscribe
