Try adding a little bit of fresh squeezed lemon or orange to the pork
when cooking it. As another poster said, use a tart apple, not sweet. Of
course, mushrooms enhance any meat dish. How about some sliced
portabellos fried with the rest?
Between the onion, apple, orange, lemon, pork, and mushrooms, it's a
circus, but I've had pork dishes very close to this and they tasted awesome.
