Hi George!
First off, I made my first post in here just little over 2 weeks ago,
and there was only two people I knew (from another group we're in and
they are great women) so I'm still trying to get to "know" all the
regular posters in here and enjoy discussing cooking tips and sharing
recipes (I was thrilled when I discovered the group) and I never
expected any nasty people in such a group, calling others horrible names
and putting them down, as I have seen, and must say, I was shocked that
about four of them turned on me immediately. I started nothing, and it
hurt me that they personally attacked me just for no reason.
I use the newsreader on my WebTV for all discussion groups, except for
one, and I do go through Google on my computer to access that group. I
can read posts through Google on WebTV, but am not able to post there
from this newsreader, unfortunately. Anyway, my point is, I'm also not
able to killfile on this newsreader, but I think it is rather pointless
to killfile, as those people's posts will show up in other people's
posts anyway, so you are going to read what they have to say eventually,
so what's the use of killfiling? It's best to ignore the obnoxious
posters, but first one has to figure out just WHO the trouble-makers
are, and it's not that easy for a newcomer, but there are obviously
several that aren't about to spread out the "welcome mat" for anyone new
coming to the group.
