Jewel-Osco is the east coast marketing name and Albertsons is the west
coast marketing name for one of the very large grocery store chains
nation wide. Basically just a regular grocery store not a specialty
one. It's one of the chains that specialty places try to be different
from.

Several of the very large national chains have different names in
different regions. I used to shop at Vons when we lived in Los Angeles
emtro. Now I sometimes shop in Dominicks in Chicago metro. Those two
are also marketing names for the same parent company.
