White vs. yellow corn meal: interchangeable?
Someone sent a box of Kenyon's white corn meal, intended for Jonny
Cakes. Not a fan of those, but can I just use it in lieu of yellow
corn meal?

Jonny Cakes: (per their package)
1 C Kenyon's stone ground white corn meal
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 - 1 1/2 C. boiling water.
Add water to other ingreeds in a bowl, mix til makes a 'ploppy'
batter, adding milk to a consistency til it drops off end of a spoon.
Drop onto a well greased griddle, cook 6 min., drizzle with oil,
flip and cook ano. 6 minutes.
Serve with maple syrup, preserves etc.
