Hola!
I've roasted beans in my Wearever Popcorn Pumper... no effort at all
and does a good job if all one wants is a small amount at a time.
However, roasting ones own is pretty meaningless unless one grows
their own, or at least picks their own... otherwise any beans one buys
are mystery beans... may as well buy a can of pre-ground from Walmart.
