I went to Walmart last night to buy dogfood (went to Sam's first but
they've inexplicably discontinued the one I buy) and I looked at the
turkey prices. Butterballs were about a dollar a pound, and some brand
I've never heard of were 74 cents per pound for mostly 13 pound hens,
but they had one 21 pounder in the bin. I would have bought it one the
spot but I don't have a place to keep it frozen (freezer is full, and
the weather is too warm to just put it in the garage)

Maybe I should have bought it and 10 pounds of ice and put it in an ice
chest. It should keep for a week that way...
