If your neighbor made his own maple syrup and gave only a few small
bottles as gifts to friends, then why/how did your neighbor get that
'tamper proof' cap on the bottle you show in your photo?? Just curious.

I have a bottle purchased at a local gourmet shop very similar to the
one you show in the photo you shared (link listed above in quoted text).

however, the two different bottles may not hold the same volume.

The 'other side' of the detached label from my similar bottle of maple
syrup says, "Butternut Mountain Farm, Morrisville, Vermont, 05661" along
with their phone numbers. It's a wee bottle of only 1.7 fl. oz. (50
ML). The price tag was $3.99, and that's from a couple years ago or more.
