:-)

When all the kids were at home and going to school, the 3 of them would
come home ravenous and be like a nest full of little chicks, cheeping and
crying till they got something to eat.
This happened *every* damn day!!
So one day, it was cold and wet when they came home, and I had fixed them a
hot 'snack' to have while waiting for dinner.

Fried rice and 'Indonesian Chicken'.

They had just about polished it all off (even though a few noses were
turned up at the Indon Chook) when I asked the oldest girl to go get the
empty can of 'Indonesian Chicken' and put it in the bin.

She went into the kitchen and gave it a cursory look, gave it a more
intense look, screamed and dropped it on the floor while yelling
"SNAILS!!!! You fed us SNAILS??!!"

Ever seen 3 kids all dry heaving at once?? Bloody hilarious!!!

Needless to say, for the next few weeks, they waited paitiently for dinner
to be served, rather than whinge for snacks :-)

And to this day, all we have to do is say the words "Indonesian Chicken"
and it induces some gagging :-)
