This is true too. There was a news report recently where some guy had
just been through his work's CPR training and he saved some guy with
an AED who has an MI and went into fibrillation. Heck those modern
AEDs are so easy to use you have to be a real moron to screw them up!

But still, the difference between who has the basic training and steps
up to the plane and acts correctly and someone who as you said "wets
their pants" while the person is fibrillating can mean the difference
betgwen life and death and you know it!
