In the years I was in radio, I met my share of show business folk.
Many of them were creeps, but some were decent people, and Tiny Tim
was far and away the nicest celebrity I ever met He was incredibly
polite, and very entertaining; he always carried his trademark ukulele
with him and it seemed like every five minutes or so he would start
playing a song by Irving Berlin. He was also an absolute authority on
the music of the early 20th century.
