He certainly was a walking dictionary of the repertoire. Even more
amazing, with very little in the way of demonstrable performance
ability he was a significant novelty act for a number of years, making
no small amount of loot in the process. Not bad.

His "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" was by and large homage to Nick Lucas
for whom I have profound respect. I've have long attempted to copy
Lucas's guitar style from way back when.
