Roughly what temperature and does it require electricity? I live in a
house in which the temperature fluctuates a good deal and have at most
fairly limited power (electricity).

My heat is passive solar suplimented by a wood stove, and electricity is
also from solar.

I have an area in the basement where the temperature runs about 60 degrees
F. plus or minus 5 degrees.
