Wait until summer, probably August but maybe earlier since it is so
warm this year and get tomatoes at farmers markets. Make sure the
markets insist on local produce. Around here it is usually the county
and the adjacent ones. But any more most of the counties actually
have their own.
Check for your local county extension office and see if the sponsor
any markets.
