Do You Live To Eat, Or Eat To Live?
I think there are many in this group that watch their daily consumption
of food, and try to eat healthier, and maybe some of you do it because
the doctor has advised it due to weight, or other health issues, such as
Diabetes, elevated cholesterol, or blood pressure allergies, etc.
But are there others of you that just LOVE food period, and throw
caution to the wind and eat what you want and when you want it, and
don't worry about health so much, but just want to enjoy food, and are
not concerned that you might not necessarily be eating the 'right'
things?
I probably fall more into the second category, as I've always loved to
cook and bake, and I also want to taste the finished product. I try to
eat in moderation and a balanced diet, but by the same token, if I want
a piece of chocolate cream pie, heaped with real whipped cream and
chocolate curls, I will go ahead and eat it, even though I know maybe
it's not the best thing for me, and I should be eating carrot sticks
instead.
A person only goes through life once, and I want to enjoy it, which
includs good tasty food, and not a lot of low carb, low fat, less sugar
"fillers" just because it might be better for me, but I suppose I'm
lucky there, as only thing I've been told to do, is cut back on salt.
