Meatlof - and kidney beans?
In a book of high fiber recipes I ran across a meatloaf recipe. The usual -
a pound of meat, egg, bread, some oatmeal, spices and other flavorings, and
covered with watered-down tomato paste before baking. No onions though,
which I usually include. But then it also says to include two cans of
kidney beams, minus liquid, pureed. Book says meatloaf has normal texture
and taste.
I think I'll try it next week or so, just out of curiosity.
Anyone ever tried pureed beans in meatloaf? How'd it taste?
