In my family, Sunday gravy *always* included a rack of spare ribs, lots
of meatballs, sweet and hot sausages, pepperoni chunks, and brazziole,
which were stuffed with raisins and pine nuts, or hardboiled eggs,
together with lots of parsley, spices and slivers of locatelli cheese.
And macaroni (we never called it 'pasta') was not only served on Sundays,
but also on Thursdays.
