Denver had large temperature swings... Once I rode my bike from Bergen Park
near Denver (about 7,800 ft) to the top of Mt Evans (14,200 ft). It was in
the upper 80s in Bergen Park. At the top of Mt Evans, it started snowing!
Took about 6 hours to get to the top, and about 45 minutes to get back down.
Greatest 45 minutes of bike riding I have ever had. ALL downhill.
