Default Sabatier Pot Lid gets water trapped under handle, any solutions?

Use RTV silicone rubber; it won't vaporize, and is non-toxic in any
case. Buy "aquarium sealer" at the pet shop. If it won't kill tropical
fish, there's nothing to worry about.
