There is a fellow here who makes specialty knives -- hunting,
whatever. He makes a "very" good living at it and still has a several
year waiting list. I think when you enter this price range you are in
the category of collector buying art. I can't imagine a chef buying a
knife like this and leaving it in the restaurant kitchen.
