I wish I had never gotten them started on it. But I had a few packages
leftover from when Maui was alive and I didn't want it to go to waste. I
had been given a few cans of a turkey flavor of premium food. I think it
was the Wellness brand. The lady at Purrfect pals said that was what they
had been eating but only for dinner. Oddly enough the store where I got
them from didn't carry that flavor. So I bought a few cans of each flavor
they did have. They would only eat maybe a few bites but they wouldn't even
touch the herring. Then I tracked down the turkey. They didn't like that
either.

Then the quest began. I finally determined that they liked tuna but only
the certain kinds. And I couldn't pin it down to a particular texture or
cut or whatever.

Before I got them they were used to eating dinner of moist food and then
having a bowl of cereal for the rest of the time. But I then made two
mistakes. Giving them the Appetizers for breakfast and then some treats
when I have my midnight snack. I don't normally eat lunch so that was never
an issue. But now they seem to want their food at our meal times. And they
can tell if it is midnight. If I am 5 minutes late on giving them their
treats, I hear about it!

Their cereal feeder and moist food bowls are here in the family room on a
little vinyl floor covered area. Why that is there I do not know. This
room is carpeted but two little areas have the same vinyl floor as in the
kitchen. Their fountain is near the food. I feed them the treats in the
kitchen and they have little dishes in there.

On Friday we brought home some of their favorite treats. We were unable to
get very many for a while and had to get other brands. They became very
excited when they saw them coming out of the bag and went to their bowls
even though it wasn't midnight. They looked very sad that they didn't get
any. But then they were happy again when they got dinner.
