You might need this if you live in an area prone to hurricanes or if you get
snowed in during the winter. I wouldn't simply because chances are high
that we couldn't eat it. I did used to keep some shelf stable meals through
the winter that were allergy friendly but frankly they weren't very filling
or good. So I no longer keep them.
