I used to do the same when my daughter lived with me...4 trays going plus a
bin. Now that it's just me, I use 2 trays and no bin. I rarely use ice
myself, most all is to cool down the ferrets water which I change twice a
day. They also get the Britta filtered water whereas I just drink plain ol'
city water most of the time. I don't have any issues with it.
