This is correct, what he should have been using is an automatic rice
pot. I made chicken curry rice in my rice cooker last night and it was
ridiculously easy and tasty. The last few minutes, I added a layer of
broccoli on top of the rice to cook.
I'll be relying more on cooking in this style in the future. My total
time spent on making dinner last night was less than 10 minutes. It's
like magic, it puzzles my wife when I hand her the food seemingly out of
nowhere. It's a neat trick.
