So true! I worked for an expensive retailer back in the day. They
gave their merchandise to charity after it had been through all the
markdowns and sales - but before it went, they put it up on the 8th
floor for an employee's only sale at a fraction of the lowest sale
price. It was a very nice perk, but it only happened once a year.
