When I was a kid, I lived in Europe. I remember
in Yugoslavia that they would put little crosses
at the side of the road where people had died.
This was actually useful information. You'd
go around a curve, see a bunch of crosses, and
know to slow down. Yugoslavia is rather mountainous
and they have lots of dangerous curves.
