Yeah, yeah. I met with the board. My next door neighbor went with me
to provide moral support. She also chimed up and said, "Jill didn't buy
this house so she didn't have a real estate agent to outline the terms
of living here." That was nice of her.

I very politely laid out my reasons for objecting to the membership
requirement. I showed them paperwork that my parents hadn't been
members since 2001. I made a case for a grandfather clause and
requested a waiver. They took it under advisement. Then they sent me
(snail mail) a very polite letter declining my waiver.

So yes, I've done a few things to try to change the situation.

Hope you don't mind if I post if the chef suddenly switches from kaiser
rolls to "pretzel rolls". LOL
