We use the Kroger brand light olive oil for pan frying. Does good up to and including..chicken fried steak..chicken..okry..tates etc. Also got some XXX virgin cold pressed first squeezing for more glamorous occasions. Heating up the good stuff is not a good plan. It will make your whole crib smell like a burnt olive. Also remember..the only oil Eyetalians get is what the Greek's refuse to eat. Use Greek when you want the best. Now it was a Greek fella who splained this so he might be prejudiced. I dont think he was fibbing.
