Welcome to the world of "free enterprise", the system where competition
is supposed to increase efficiency and reduce prices. It is the system
touted by the right as "capitalism" . As we see from your example, the
truth is that there isn't that much competition because the big guys are
buying up all the competition and either shitting them down or
pretending to compete against each other.
