I don't know exactly except that they use the same equipment or something
like that for other things. In the case of nuts, it is highly likely that
they will use this for other nuts. So unless you are buying nuts grown and
processed by a dedicated place for only that kind of nuts, there will be
cross contamination. I do accept this and take my chances there. But a
person with a specific nut allergy could not. However, in the case of
Trader Joe's and Costco, it says shared lines with dairy, eggs and other
things. The dairy and eggs are a problem for me.

Some people would say that they are just putting this on there as a CYA type
thing but... We have had problems with shared lines things so I just won't
buy them, provided that whatever they share those lines with are problematic
for us.
