Things must be boring in fantasy land and whining about what happens
to you after you start a war is pretty rich. By the by, since either
you were not listening or your family stories are also fantasies,
Hanover was not captured or attacked by the Soviet army. It was taken
on the April 10 by the U.S. 84th infantry and subsequently was a part
of the British zone of occupation. It was thoroughly bombed by both
British and American air forces as it was a major center for war
production. Estimates of civilian casualties are around 6,000.
