Ninja is one of those great ideas that keeps changing the setup
without changing the name. I *think* the genius is that they spin
fast and have multiple sets of blades up a center shaft.

Mine was about $40 for 2 bladed containers and a motor that sits atop
either one. I use the small one for bean dips and dressings weekly--
and my daughter makes smoothies with the big one about as frequently.

A couple years later I bought another set on a Woot closeout for when
I killed the one I had. Glad I did because I don't see anything
like it anymore. Maybe the bulky glass ones are just as good as my
old plastic-- but I don't know.
