I didn't come across McDonald's until I was a teenager and moved to
the big city. We had Dairy Queen, which was road trip food only. In
any case, I don't remember a problem with McDonald's of old. Burger
Kind was the one with huge buns and hardly any meat; which Wendy's
used to great advantage with their "Where's the Beef" commercials.
