FWIW... I think some bald guys wear hats to keep their head from getting
sunburned. I remember getting a very short crew-cut on a Saturday
morning when I was a kid and by that night, my head was so red that you
could read a book by the glow.

I only have a couple of hats..... a wide brim Tilley that I wear when I
am on vacation in the tropics and a Dodgers baseball cap that I wear
when I am mowing the lawn to keep the dust out of my hair.
